I finally ordered Mindy Kaling’s book Is Everyone Hanging out Without me? (And Other Concerns) after not getting paid for a month during Christmas break. I finished it in two days and now I want to write my own book/read it three more times before Wednesday. Mindy is the funnier smarter older sister I never had or wanted. I think if I wasn’t so concerned with cutting my own bangs and wearing a lot of flannel I would be on my path to being a comedy writer like her. I could see myself doing the things she describes, only that I’m too camera shy to ever actually act in a series or show. It has however inspired me to try and write more of a story I started a year ago about my dating mishaps. I think I’m semi-funny and people owe me favors so they’ll probably read it. I’ll be sure to keep you posted.
